The music festival Il Grande in Provincia returns in the summer of 2023 with a rich program of concerts that bring the excellence of the Teatro Grande to some of the most evocative venues in the Brescia province.
Chamber music will also be the protagonist of some of the events on the bill. The first will be on Wednesday, July 26, with an exceptional duo, that of violinist Piercarlo Sacco and guitarist Andrea Dieci. In the Church of St. Mark the Evangelist in the hamlet of Livemmo in Pertica Alta, the two musicians will perform three violin sonatas by Niccolò Paganini and three pieces by Astor Piazzolla that represent an ideal combination of traditional Argentine tango and influences from the Paris of the first half of the last century. The event is included in the programming for the PNRR Call for Projects for “Regeneration of small cultural sites, cultural, religious and rural heritage.”
