The Nutcracker

The 2025 Opera and Ballet Season will close with the traditional classical ballet title. This year the title chosen is The Nutcracker, staged at the Teatro Grande on three dates: Friday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7 at 3:30 p.m. will be the two subscription dates to which will be added the non-subscription performance on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. Interpreting the famous timeless fairy tale danced to the music of Pyotr Il’ič Tchaikovsky will be the Tbilisi Opera Ballet, a historic and well-established company that has been directed by internationally renowned ballerina Nina Ananiashvili since 2004.

To bring young people even closer to the Opera, the special €15 ticket reserved for under-18 students (stalls sector and boxes I, II and III order) is confirmed.

How to purchase tickets

New subscriptions for the 2025 Opera and Ballet Season will be available from 11th June until 19th June.

Tickets for all individual performances of the 2025 Opera and Ballet Season will be on sale from 24th June.

The Ticket Office is open Tuesday to Friday from 1.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.; closed Sundays, Mondays and public holidays except on performance days.
