BAGLIORE N. 2 is the second manifestation of a performance with a processual character specifically conceived for Il Teatro Grande in Brescia. The performance originates from an invitation addressed to Marta Ciappina to inhabit the sound materials of the musicians ØKAPI and Emanuele Maniscalco in the almost extemporaneousness of an encounter. Marta Ciappina, in turn, almost by budding, extended the invitation to choreographer and visual artist Salvo Lombardo, shaping the mutual desire to find each other and to dilate glimpses by opening glimpses into their respective body landscapes and performative systems that-in the time of a fleeting appearance-will manifest as a momentary glow. BAGLIORE N. 2 is an appointment to where the body will be. Its form is that of recall; its images a reverberation. Its weaving knots a system of concatenations, relationships, references.
