SPEEED is a choreographic and musical project inspired by the Para Para and Eurobeat phenomenon that spread through Tokyo clubs in the 1990s. It is a mimetic work because it faithfully copies its source of inspiration: the dancers onstage stimulate you to act, a 160 bpm slap launches you into the center of a centrifuge of pure and genuine enthusiasm where tuning cars play some Eurobeat at very high volume.
