History is made up of a sum of events generated by very small lives, by daily routines that flow slowly, seemingly leaving no trace. Yet, day by day, they create significant “pressures” of a social, economic, environmental, and cultural nature… Over the centuries, these “pressures” have suddenly manifested in exceptional figures or taken shape in unexpected, rapid turning points.
The first edition of the Brescia Storia Festival is dedicated to the fateful days that shaped and left an indelible mark on societies throughout time. It will recount the crucial moments, the explosions; but, with no less attention, also the causes and consequences, often rooted precisely in the ordinary life that underlies them.
