Protagonist of the “historical” contemporary, tireless instigator of sensitive choreographic encounters, Raffaella Giordano relies on a special artist to re-interpret, twenty years after its debut, her Tu non mi perderai mai. Loosely “inspired” by the Song of Songs, the solo-among her most elusive-is the one that best fits Tansini’s intimate and “sacred” simplicity. Presence/absence in a desert of gestural tears, Giordano threw between himself and the audience with hypnotic results a promise of long waiting and lingered between an unlived life and a vanished desire. Today, the play could resurrect with melancholic estrangement from the thousand veiled tensions of Tansini. Thus the message will become a medium of sensory tenderness and painful challenges.
