Among the new initiatives of 2020, a rare title stands out: Zaide by Mozart. The precious unfinished work by the great composer will be on Teatro Grande stage on 10th and 12th December. The direction is by Graham Vick, one of the most important names in Opera direction panorama, that wants to tell about our time through a forbidden love story and a tyrant Sultan. The text had been rebuild by Italo Calvino in 1981. Giuliana Giandolfi will play the main role, Giovanni Sala will be Gomatz, Vincenzo Nizzardo Allazim, Osmin Pierpaolo Martella.
A new live streaming is scheduled on Friday 20th November at 17.00, this time from Teatro Sociale di Como. Zaide, the co-production of Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and OperaLomabrdia Theatres, wil be broadcast. As announced, the streaming on 20th November is a special preview and it will be available on operalombardialive.it and Regione Lombardia Mediaportal.
