La Natura delle cose by Virgilio Sieni is inspired by Lucretius’s De rerum natura and meets the spirit and intentions of the Latin philosopher, reflecting on today: dance, starting from the choreographic construction and reflection on the movement of the body in the scene, reaches define a physical poem that calls a gaze ready to open up on extreme and impressive events, which escape the dominion of rationality.
The performance makes use for the dramaturgy of the prestigious collaboration of Giorgio Agamben – one of the most important and original philosophers of our time – and for the music of the composer Francesco Giomi, in addition to the collaboration with Nada for the recorded texts accompanying the show.
