Born in 1989, Lahav Shani is one of the most renowned international talents in the field of conductorship. Already guest conductor in many international ensembles, at the Teatro Grande he will be playing with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra – one the most prestigious European companies – of which he was appointed Principal Conductor. Since 2020, he has been succeeding to Zubin Mehta as Principal Conductor of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Yefim Bronfman will be playing in the firs part of the concert, one of the most accalimed and admired pianists of the contemporary world.
