Pazzi per l’Opera

Pazzi per l’ Opera returns for the traditional series of meetings dedicated to exploring the works scheduled for the 2018 Opera and Ballet Season.

Each week before the staging of the opera, on a Saturday morning, the “melomani” – professionals not employed in the sector but great fans of the operatic genre – analyse the textual and musical aspects of the works, listening to the salient passages.

The aim is to examine the structures of the melodrama through an in-depth analysis conducted by special speakers, also paying attention to the lives of the composers and the historical-social context, without neglecting curiosities and behind the scene information, thus establishing an interesting dialogue between the “melomaniacs” and the public, who are always very involved. It is a useful opportunity, not only to prepare for the viewing of the shows on the calendar, but also for the construction of a critical sense and to refine your personal taste.

Admission is free subject to availability of seats.
