I Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra is back to the Teatro Grande with a great and prestigious concert, under the direction of Corrado Rovaris, Music Director od Philadelphia Opera and guest director of important orchestras and theatres. Moreover two outstanding soloists as Beatrice Rana and Benedetto Lupo.
Just twenty-two years old, Beatrice rana is already recognized around the international music stage and is a regular guest of concerts and festivals all over the world. In June 2013 she won the Second Award e “Audience Award” at the famous international piano contest ‘Van Cliburn’, last of a long list of rewardin her already surprising career. In 2011 she won the First Award and every “Special Awards” at Montreal International Contest.
Guest musician of great institution, Benedetto Lupo has played with international orchestras and directors in Europe, Asia and Americas. He recorded for Teldec, BMG, VAI, Nuova Era, the entire production for piano and orchestra of Schumann for Arts and the Concerto Soirée of Nino Rota for Harmonia Mundi, winning five international awards, included Diapason d’Or.
