1968 THE STUDENT REVOLUTION
The movements of ’68 involve different social classes, with a strong unifying generational trait. Formed often by spontaneous aggregation, young people, in Paris, Berlin, Rome and Milan, radically contest ideas and prejudices of the previous generation. Occupations, parades and strikes in schools, universities and factories are just some of the means by which a revolt is expressed which also affects culture and lifestyle.
Marcello Flores teaches Comparative History and History of Human Rights at the University of Siena.
The show is part of the Il Teatro Grande initiative for schools and universities.
