The Compagnia del Madrigale is currently the most qualified madrigal group worldwide. The concert is thought for madrigals – 5 and six voices – by Luca Marenzio, Claudio Monteverdi, and Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa. A surprising itinerary through the music suavity of marenzio, an auditory performance of Rome “dolce vita” of the late Fifteenth Century, and a strong courage of Prince of Venosa that, from the begiggings of Baroque age, seems to preview the Nineteenth avant-garde.
