PAOLO GALLUZZI. Galileo, the power of science
March 1610. Galileo publishes the Sidereus Nuncius, the work that affirms the validity of the heliocentric theory outlined by Copernicus. The dramatic change of scenery marks the beginning of a new age – animated by personalities of extraordinary intellectual caliber, such as Kepler, Descartes, Newton – an age in which not only the principles of cosmology are called into question, but also those of physics and philosophy, religion and anthropology. An epochal revolution!

Tickets for sale at the Ticket Office of Teatro Grande and online from 10th September.
Ticket office is open from Tuesday to Friday (13.30-19.00) and on Saturday (15.30-19.00). For information biglietteria@teatrogrande.it.
