Always engaged in the contemporary repertoire and the twentieth century, the Dèdalo Ensemble presents a program that compares two absolute masterpieces of music of the first half of the twentieth century. United by the popular setting and the characteristic of being performed by an enlarged chamber ensemble, Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland and El Amor Brujo by Manuel de Falla draw into music two different contexts: on the one hand rural America and the scene of a wedding in which they contrast the dark penitential religiosity and the joy of life, on the other the Andalusian and gypsy setting and the story of a love that can not be realized.
