Taking as inspiration the vocal and instrumental works of Italian composers of the late 16th and early 17th centuries such as de Wert, Caccini, Kapsberger, Frescobaldi and d’India, the ensemble Concerto di Margherita presents a fable of an archetypal lover, cultured, like Amaryllis in Guarini’s Comedy, in a cruel game of Blind Man’s Bluff. The musicians play and sing simultaneously throughout the concert, accompanying the audience on the path of the lover: born in Arcadian innocence, blinded and disappointed by love, lost and disoriented in the dark and comforted in the dark.

Tickets for sale at the Ticket Office of Teatro Grande and online from 10th September.
Ticket office is open from Tuesday to Friday (13.30-19.00) and on Saturday (15.30-19.00). For information biglietteria@teatrogrande.it.
