Agora. Le città vicine | Un cammino per 10 città
In collaboration with FDE Festival Danza Estate Bergamo
Virgilio Sieni, one of the most renowned Italian artists, nominated Chevalier de l’Ordres des arts et de lettres by the French Minister of Culture, was invited to design for Bergamo Brescia Capitale italiana della Cultura 2023 a community involvement project. Agora. Le città vicine is a journey in ten stages that, in addition to the cities of Brescia and Bergamo, will touch eight locations of the two territories, involving citizens in the construction of a choreographic action that will culminate in the final performances in Brescia and Bergamo. This will create a collective action where the tactile dimension of proximity becomes a democratic device that elaborates the sense of community.
