Opera Domani is a project that aims to bring pupils from compulsory schools closer to opera. Children and young people are directly involved in the performance: they are involved by singing some pages from the opera, performing simple movements and bringing small objects made in the classroom in the previous months to the theatre. For 2018, the selected work is Carmen.
“Carmen is a story of love and freedom. The two themes are not separate because one’s condition determines the other. All the main characters of the story are in love with someone. There is a red thread that binds them, but love will be the cause of the final tragic manifestation.” (Andrea Bernard)
