Batsheva Dance Company | Momo by Ohad Naharin

Information on ticket refunds can be found on the dedicated page.

Due to the ongoing events in Israel and the related security measures taken in the country, the Batsheva Dance Company has been forced to suspend and postpone its tour in Italy.
Therefore the shows of 14 October at Teatro Municipale Valli, Festival Aperto Reggio Emilia; 17 October at Teatro Fonderie Limone, Torinodanza; 20 and 21 October at Triennale Milano Teatro and 23 October at Teatro Grande in Brescia have been cancelled, while waiting to be able to reschedule them as soon as possible.

The Batsheva company was founded in 1964 by Baroness Batsheva de Rothschild, who chose renowned choreographer Martha Graham as the company’s first artistic consultant. It is Israel’s largest dance company, with 40 extraordinary dancers from Israel and around the world belonging to both the senior and junior Batsheva Ensemble companies. Batsheva stages about 250 performances each year with more than 100,000 spectators, and offers numerous educational activities for young dancers both in the dance school and through classes and workshops. It is unanimously recognized as one of the most prestigious dance companies in the world.

MOMO revitalizes our sense of wonder, awe, enchantment and spontaneity. It washes away all the hierarchies ingrained in our minds. Looking at it, our senses cross wires, spatial and temporal orientation slips away, and expression is intense like no other.” (Anat Zecharia)
