William Forsythe | A quiet evening of dance

William Forsythe is definitely one of the greatest choreographers of his generation. For this unusual combination of repertoire choreographs and new creations, Forsythe has imagined something similar to a chamber music concert, created to be listened to. His creations range from the minimal analytic concentration to the baroque counterpoint. The elaborate phrasing of the dancers’ reprieve is the first accompaniment to the geometrical essence of the classical ballet. Seven dancers interpret this dance: they will let the audience in the inner workings of dance and in the mind of the man who has consecrated his work to this task.
