Ensemble del Teatro Grande

With the coordination of Sandro Laffranchini, Teatro alla Scala’s first cello, the Teatro Grande Ensemble was born in 2012 as a resident musician of the Teatro Grande Foundation. The group explores the chamber music repertoire in duo formations from duo to quintet with piano. In the concerts of the Ensemble particular attention is given to the divulgative aspect of the masterpieces of music, from the ‘700 to the contemporary – without neglecting works of so – called minor authors – as well as the new proposals of Italian composers and authors both emerging and already affirmed in the territory of Brescia. Besides the musicians who form the Ensemble – Laura Marzadori (violin), Daniele Richiedei (violin), Eugenio Silvestri (violet), Sandro Laffrachini (cello), Andrea Rebaudengo (piano) – Ensemble hosts young talents and celebrated musicians of the international landscape.
